Takes cognizance of upcoming Notification in respect of award of the Scholarships to the Under-Privileged Students belonging to the Other Backward Classes / Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Persons with Disabilities, belonging to Rajasthan States for the Academic Year 2017 – 2018 and states in the subsequent Paragraphs.


Rajasthan Post Matric Scholoarship 2016-17

        

The Social Justice & Empowerment Department (SJED) shall formally commence Online Registration effective the 15th of December 2016 (15.12.2016) onwards.
Eligibility:
The Scholarship will be awarded to the Students who shall have secured Minimum 50% Marks or Equivalent Grade in the previous Final Examination.
Merit Criteria for Selection:
The following factors will be taken into consideration:
  1. Fulfillment of the Eligibility conditions as given in the Scheme.
  2. Merit of the Candidate in terms of Percentage of the Marks obtained in the Qualifying Examination.
  3. Pre-Matric & Post-Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities.

In case of a TIE in Percentage of the Marks, the Percentage of Disability will be considered, i.e., the Candidate with Higher Percentage of Disability will get Preference. In case there is still a TIE, the Age will be considered, i.e., the Older Candidate will get Preference.

The Government of Rajasthan State, following successful scrutiny of the Applications from the Students, shall award the Scholarship to pursue the Studies in a Government or Private Higher Secondary School / College / University, including such Residential Institutes of the Government and Eligible Private Institutes selected and notified in a Transparent manner in Rajasthan State. The Scholarship would also cover Technical and Vocational Courses in Industrial Training Institutes / Industrial Training Centers affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of Classes XI and XII Levels.
The Scholarship will be awarded to the Students who have secured at least 50% Marks or Equivalent Grade in the previous Final Examination and the Annual Income of whose Parents / Guardian from all Sources does not exceed Annual Income in the Year. Unlike the Scholarship for SC and ST, there are fixed number of the Scholarships for Minorities and, hence, Preference for Selection has been laid down. The Students from Below Poverty Line Families, having the lowest Income shall be given Preference in the Ascending Order. The Renewal Applications would be fully exhausted before the new Applications shall be considered.

Rajasthan Post Matric Scholarship Apply Online 2016-17

शैक्षिक सत्र 2016 – 17 के लिए अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसूचित जनजाति और पिछड़ा वर्ग को दी जाने वाली उत्तर मेट्रिक छात्रवृत्ति (POST_MATRIC _ SCHOLARSHIP) का नया पोर्टल 1st दिसम्बर 2016 को शुरू होगा | हालाँकि सामाजिक न्याय और आधिकारिकता विभाग की ओर से दी जाने वाली छात्रवृत्ति का पोर्टल सत्र शुरू होने के 6 महीने बाद शुरू होगा | यह पोर्टल 1st दिसम्बर 2016 से केवल विश्वविद्य|लय के लिए शुरू होगा और छात्रों के लिए पोर्टल 15th दिसम्बर 2016 से शुरू होगा | सत्र 2016 – 17 के छात्रवृत्ति के आवेदन पत्र नए पोर्टल पर ई-मित्र के माध्यम से भरे जायगे | कॉलेजो और विश्वविद्य|लय को कोर्सेज और पाठ्यक्रम का पंजीयन 1st दिसम्बर 2016 से 15th दिसम्बर 2016 तक करना अनिवार्य होगा वरना उस संसथान के विद्यार्थी आवेदन नहीं कर पायंगे |


The Scholarships under this Scheme will be available for studying in Classes IX, X, XI, XII, post-Matriculation Diploma / Certificates and Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in India and Master’s Degree from any University recognized by the University Grants Commission, to the Students with Disabilities, who are covered under the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunity, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 and the National Trust for the Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities Act, 1999 and / or under any relevant Legal Statute in force.
Only Indian Nationals will be Eligible for Scholarships.
The Scholarship under the Scheme shall be awarded by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disability, Government of India.

सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता मंत्री डॉ. अरूण चतुर्वेदी ने उत्तर मैट्रिक छात्रवृत्ति के लिए बनाये गये नये पोर्टल का बटन दबाकर लाँच करते हुए कहा कि नये पोर्टल से विद्यार्थियों को पूरी पारदर्शिता एवं समय पर छात्रवृत्ति मिल सकेगी। डॉ. चतुर्वेदी गुरूवार को सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता विभाग अम्बेडकर भवन के सभागार में सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता विभाग तथा सूचना एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग द्वारा उत्तर मैट्रिक छात्रवृत्ति के लिए तैयार किये गये नवीन पोर्टल को लाँच करते हुए कहा कि पहले का छात्रवृत्ति का पोर्टल मध्यप्रदेश एन.आई.सी. द्वारा तैयार किया गया था जिसमें कई खामियाँ थीं, जिसके कारण विद्यार्थियों को छात्रवृत्ति का भुगतान समय पर नहीं हो पा रहा था। उन्होंने कहा कि नये छात्रवृत्ति पोर्टल को आधार एवं भामाशाह से जोड़ा गया जिससे डुप्लीकैसी नहीं होगी। वहीं छात्र एक बार आवेदन कर सकेगा। फिर जरूरी दस्तावेज ही प्रस्तुत करने पर छात्रवृत्ति मिल जायेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता विभाग ने मुख्यमंत्री के निर्देश पर 13 योजनाओं को पेपरलैस किया है जिनमें पालनहार, सामाजिक सुरक्षा पेंशन, छात्रवृत्ति, सहयोग योजना आदि शामिल है। उन्होंने कहा कि नये छात्रवृत्ति पोर्टल पर एक से 15 दिसम्बर, 2016 तक समस्त विश्वविद्यालय अपना पंजीकरण करा सकेंगे। इसके बाद 15 दिसम्बर, 2016 से छात्रों द्वारा 2016-17 के लिए आवेदन भरने के लिए पोर्टल को खोला जायेगा। पोर्टल पर मान्यता प्राप्त कॉलेजों के छात्र ही छात्रवृत्ति के लिए आवेदन कर सकेंगे।
